STALLIONS MARES FOALS AT WORK FOR SALE ANGUS CATTLE RANCH HISTORY

BLACK DIAMOND ANGUS

My great grandfather, W.B. Warner was an avid stockman who took great pride in his livestock. Building a herd of cattle to stock his grassland was one of the first endeavors he took on when originally moving to Kansas. He did just that and began putting together a herd of mother cows with good milking ability and gentle dispositions. Impressed by the stories he heard and read of the new Aberdeen Angus cattle imported into the United States, he purchased a registered bull named Diamond Fay in 1893; the foundation Angus bull of the cowherd today! We are proud to be one of the oldest continually running Angus cattle ranches in the country!

We are committed to producing high quality cattle on our rangeland while maintaining excellent rangeland health that supports both the cattle and our abundant wildlife here on the vast Kansas prairie; which remains virtually just as it was when W.B. Warner first gazed upon the Sawlog valley over 130 years ago!

We strive to breed moderate framed, efficient, excellent dispositioned cattle that exceed modern market demands both in the pasture and on the plate! Commercial female replacements available by private treaty.
